DPR Sponsors 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Sri Lanka–China Business Council (SLCHBC), organized under the auspices of The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and held at Shangri-La Colombo.
The event marked a significant milestone, celebrating 25 years of fostering stronger trade, investment, and business relations between Sri Lanka and China. The evening brought together distinguished guests, including government representatives, diplomats, business leaders, and member organizations to commemorate the Council’s longstanding contribution to bilateral economic cooperation.
The celebration was graced by His Excellency Mr. Qi Zhenhong, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Sri Lanka, and Hon. Wasantha Samarasinghe, Minister of Trade, Commerce, Food Security, and Cooperative Development, alongside other prominent representatives from both the public and private sectors.
