DPR participated in the Networking Session with the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Delegation, held on 28 July 2026 at Hilton Colombo Residences. Organized by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Indo-Lanka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ILCCI), the event brought together leading businesses from Sri Lanka and India to strengthen commercial ties and explore new opportunities for trade, investment, and business collaboration.
The networking session welcomed a 30-member delegation from the Indian Chamber of Commerce, representing a broad spectrum of industries including manufacturing, engineering and infrastructure, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, IT and digital services, renewable energy, agriculture, construction, travel and tourism, water treatment, consultancy and advisory services, industrial minerals, food processing, brewery and winery, exports and immigration services, fine arts and heritage, and sports products.
Representing DPR Investment Consultants, our team participated in a series of one-to-one B2B meetings with delegates to discuss potential investment opportunities, strategic partnerships, and business expansion initiatives. The discussions provided valuable insights into areas of mutual interest while creating opportunities to connect with Indian companies seeking to establish or expand their presence in Sri Lanka.
The event served as an excellent platform for fostering meaningful business relationships and encouraging dialogue between Sri Lankan and Indian enterprises. Through direct engagement, participants were able to exchange market knowledge, identify potential areas for collaboration, and explore opportunities that contribute to stronger bilateral business and investment ties.
As one of Sri Lanka’s largest trading partners and an important source of foreign investment, India continues to play a significant role in the country’s economic development. Business networking initiatives such as this strengthen cross-border cooperation and support the growth of long-term commercial partnerships between the two nations.
DPR remains committed to supporting both local and international investors through comprehensive investment advisory, business establishment, regulatory compliance, and market entry services. By participating in international business networking events, we continue to promote Sri Lanka as an attractive investment destination while building strong relationships with global business communities.
